On Consciousness

The more darkness and unopened ones consciousness, the more confusing and "weird" more advanced spiritual teachings and practices will seem.

This does not apply to all teachings and practices. Some of them really are superficial or not that good.

Surprisingly, someone can do powerful spiritual teachings, yet have a simplistic understanding of God and Consciousness.

However, healer or not, those who are humble and in their heart are most likely to be closer to God.

Someone can have a hard life filled with sorrow, yet experience more spiritual growth and consciousness than a spiritual growth teacher.

A spiritual teaching or practice can be non-beneficial and possibly even hurtful in one stage of growth, yet, after much healing and growth in consciousness, that same teaching may become necessary during a later stage of growth

Nobody has all the answers. Nobody.

Your intuition your spiritual growth is always the best answer and trumps any spiritual guru or master. You know yourself and what resonates with you best.

Different spiritual healings and practices are complicated. There are different factor at play that many people don't realize. Spiritual hygiene. Closeness to high frequencies of God. Effectiveness at helping people love themselves and become closer to God. Also take into account that some of the older techniques may now have become antiquated due to the changing times. And others may have become diluted due to not keeping with the same teachings, understandings and traditions.

Great spiritual teachers and healers may conflict with each other. Yet may still be needed by a person. And they will have reconcile with that.

If it gets you closer to God and helps with suffering, then it is the right way for you.

The Truth about Ayahuasca

Yes, ayahuasca can give most people powerful visions, and even healing sometimes. But this doesn't mean it is as safe, healthy or even as spiritual as most people believe.

Five years ago I experienced 18 ayahuasca ceremonies within a one year time period in order to heal emotional, physical and spiritual issues. I wanted the most powerful healing possible, and I thought ayahuasca was it.

Since then I'd discovered spiritual healing that, in my personal opinion, makes ayahuasca seem like tinker toys in comparison. This is not to judge or criticize anyone who does ayahuasca. I respect any decision someone makes for their spiritual or healing path. And I completely understand why someone would turn to ayahuasca. I fully understand the potential of ayahuasca, and what can can be experienced during ceremonies.

However, there are some things most people aren't quite aware of about ayahuasca, realities about ayahuasca and the spiritual world that need to be addressed and also some red flags about the ayahuasca community in general.

If you are serious about healing and spiritual growth, and are willing to have an open mind, I encourage you to read further.

It is important to know that the spirit world is real, with both good and bad spirits and everything in between. Ayahuasca is considered a plant medicine that originates from the Amazon jungle. It is a plant spirit. When consumed it can open people up to visions and experiences and insights. It can also make people purge in various ways such as vomiting, shaking and diarrhea. I will share what I have learned since my experiences with ayahuasca and my own expansion of consciousness as I've trained to become a shamanic healer.

Ayahuasca opens up your consciousness and energy field, meaning anything, good or bad, can come in or out of your energy field.

Please understand that, because ayahuasca makes you spiritually open, ANY negative energies, dark forces or spirits can affect you or gain access to your consciousness during the ceremony. Any energies can start floating around and mess with or "infect" people.

Ayahuasca ceremonies lack spiritual hygiene.

Spiritual hygiene means keeping ourselves clear of dark and negative energies, spirits and any dark forces. Just like we bathe and brush our teeth for our physical health, we need spiritual hygiene to keep us clear and healthy spiritually. If we don't, it can affect our wellbeing.

Spiritual hygiene is THE most important thing for any spiritual healing modality. This is because both client and healer need to be protected from dark energies during the healing sessions. It doesn't matter if you got a really big healing if negative energy is just going to get right back on you again.

Ayahuasca ceremonies are one of the most spiritually dirty healing modalities out there. They are usually held in crowded spaces with up to 15-30 people. Everyone's consciousnesses and energy fields become wide open, everyone's spirits leave their bodies, making their bodies open and  vulnerable to any negative energies or spirits that come along. It doesn't matter how powerful of an experience you have. If there is no spiritual hygiene then it's like cleaning yourself in dirty bath water. In the case of ayahausca ceremonies, it's like taking a bath with 30 other people and all their issues--spirit possession, depression, alcoholism and drug addiction, and so on.

Yes, it is true that the ayahuasceros leading the ceremony can do things to cleanse the healing space and open the ceremony. However, I personally have not met any who are doing it at the highest level, and what they are doing is not strong enough to prevent negative energies and spirits from affecting ayahuasca participants. Although you don't hear about it often, It is easy to find stories on the internet of people who came away with PTSD, psychotic breaks and damaged energy fields from ayahuasca ceremonies. I had really terrible experiences involving negative spirits and ceremonies that had gone wrong.

The highest level of spiritual hygiene that I've ever experienced comes from a natural born shaman who is also my teacher. It is the cleanest, purest and most light filled method, and all other modalities I've tried from other healers and teachers do not compare. I do not use any other methods and will not participate in any healing modalities that do not use these same hygiene procedures.

Ayahuasca is not a "good" spirit. It is neutral and can be used for either good or bad, depending on the person's intention.

Ayahuasca is not a spirit of the highest level. I don't claim to be an expert on how ayahuasca works, but I do know for certain that it is not a spirit that is working specifically and only for God {meaning ONLY unconditional love, light and compassion--no darkness whatsover}. Ayahuasca is not good or bad. It is neutral. It is a tool. It is used to open people up spiritually. But someone can use ayahuasca for dark forces or malevolent reasons if they wanted to.

If ayahuasca worked for God, then there would not be so many people who've had bad and traumatizing experiences with it. It would not be allowing negative energies or scary spirits.

Healing should be a beautiful experience filled with love and light.

Spirits and spirit guides that are working for God will only work with people who are of the highest integrity, and who have been healed themselves. As I will explain, ayahuasca ceremonies can be led by anyone who've been taught how, no matter how good or bad they are. Do some research. Pay attention to the bad experiences people have had. Listen to the red flags.

One interesting thing I learned during a retreat in Peru is that historically, ayahuasca was used by indigenous people to help them defeat their enemies. It is also used by "brujos," those who specialize in curses and black magic. People can choose to use ayahuasca for good. But the fact is that it can still be used for bad. There is absolutely no integrity in that.

Ayahuasca ceremonies can be run by anyone--alcoholics, people with big egos, rapists, etc.

This is a huge red flag and I never understood why the ayahuasca community was so quick to overlook this. While there are many people with good intentions and in good integrity who do run ceremonies, it is also well known that women have been molested and raped by certain ceremony leaders. I also hate to think of what some of these ceremony leaders might be able to do with the consciousnesses of their participants.

It makes sense that for any healing modality to be in integrity, those facilitating the ceremonies must be in good standing at the highest level. Some people view ayahuasca as something they do independently, and do not consider those running the ceremony to be part of the healing. But participants really are still vulnerable to and in the care of whoever is facilitating the ceremony.

For most people, any healing from ayahuasca is temporary.

This was my experience, and I saw this with other people as well. I've heard of a few examples of people who have healed chronic conditions. But those who were healed represent just a few out of many people I've known who had participated in ceremonies. Books have been written with case studies of people who have been healed, but there is no mention of the people who have been harmed. And I wonder about follow up. How many of those people are still healed months or years down the road?

While it is possible for some to benefit from ayahuasca, it is with a lot of risk as already mentioned. I've experience how the ayahuasca community defends themselves and ayahuasca, placing blame on anyone who complains about ayahuasca, saying they didn't do enough work on themselves. This is very unfair and selfish, and only harms those already in a fragile state who don't have anywhere else to go for support.

There are higher forces of Healing Love and Light than what Ayahuasca can offer.

It is easy to feel that ayahuasca is the most powerful healing modality out there because of the experiences it provides. I want to make it clear that this is not true. There is no need to spend up to $300 for a 5 hour ceremony filled with terrifying and nonsensical visions, confusing experiences and physical purges that take you to the edge.

Those participating in ayahuasca ceremonies are usually told to use intention to guide their ceremonies. However spirits and dark forces can interfere. In addition to this, I believe someone's own ego and negative energy can get in the way of their own healing. It's like trying to do surgery on yourself.

There is also a harmful belief in the ayahuasca community that "ayahuasca gives you want you need, not what you want." This is a very broad and unfair statement. Nobody knows what one is experiencing during these ceremonies or why it is happening. Nobody "needs" to have a dark spirit tormenting them, or experiences that leave them suicidal for months after the ceremony has ended.

I was fortunate enough to discover faith-based shamanic healing that uses God/Source/Spirit for healing. I didn't believe it was possible at first. But I was amazed to discover that this type of healing was far more powerful and did so much more for me than ayahuasca ever did. It helps people to heal and grow spiritually much quicker and in a much more pure and loving way. It is also costs a lot less!

These healings are pure love, pure light, and only done by healers with the utmost compassion and integrity. We use a very strict protocol of spiritual hygiene that protects both the client and healer. And there is no room for negative energies to interfere. I got more healing from this modality in six months than I did with a year and a half of ayahuasca ceremonies and other spiritual healers/modalities combined. It is only of the highest good and can never be used for bad at all.

Are people really ready for healing at the highest level?

I'm not saying that the healing I use is the best way for everyone. I understand that there are many beautiful healing modalities out there. But if someone is suffering and really wants healing, are they willing to let go of their old ways of doing things? This is what I had to do, and it was the hardest, most heart-breaking thing I ever had to do. I was in love with the idea of doing ayahuasca and wanted so badly to experience lots of healing with the ceremonies. But the truth was that it was not working for me. I was spending lots of money doing ceremonies that often just left me confused, with a community that was not able to give me the support I needed. And my life was spiraling out of control. I had also tried other spiritual and shamanic healers but was not getting the healing I needed.

When I took my first class with the faith-based shamanic healing that I now provide, it was the first time I felt safe in two years. And I finally felt like I was on the right path. But I knew that many others I knew would not be willing to change their ways to follow this other path--friends, healers and even spiritual teachers. They were too embedded into doing ayahuasca, too attached to their own ways of doing things, to see that there were safer and more effective ways of healing. So I had to let all of my old friends, healers and spiritual teachers go.

In conclusion

I do not claim to know the perfect way to spiritual growth and healing. I realize that everyone has their own path and that everything happens for a reason. This is why I do not judge or criticize what others decide to do.  However, there are things that I know now that I did not know five years ago. I am more intuitive, more mature, more healed, more knowledgeable of the spirit world and have grown in consciousness significantly since being on my current spiritual path.

Unfortunately I didn't know what I was dealing with at the time I did ayahuasca: all the spiritual energies--much of them negative or nonsensical, the red flags from ceremony leaders, the egos from those willing to defend ayahuasca when, in reality, it sadly seemed more like ayahuasca had them in some sort of grip. These are things that I can now see and sense due to the powerful healings I've received since then.

I don't know if those doing ayahuasca are really being taken to the highest level of God's healing and light. I'm not even saying that ayahuasca can't be used in that way. But if any healing modality isn't being used with the highest integrity with facilitators and healers who are working for God and with the highest intention of healing for others, then people aren't being healed at the highest level. Five years ago I did 18 ayahuasca ceremonies with three different reputable and popular ayahuasca healers, and I had bad experiences with all of them. My hope is to help anyone else out there who is looking for healing, and to help them make the best educated decision.

Karma

Karma is real.

If we treat people bad, are condescending, abusive or even just rude, it's like putting a black mark on yourself. I have seen this, not only on other people but also on myself. Everyone has a certain amount of karma.

We erase karma by apologizing, being more kind and considerate, and by changing our ways. We also erase karma by forgiving and forgetting. This can be hard to do sometimes, but it just takes persistence.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE HAVE A LOT OF BAD KARMA?

It comes back to you, and you attract negative things in life simply through law of attraction. I'm not saying this is the only reason bad things can happen, but why make things worse with bad karma? Karma can be unconscious and not something you're even aware of, for example something you forgot you did or from a past life. Spiritual healings can help with this. Karma might not come back to you in this life time, but it will come back to you somehow.

Negativity can also be passed down to children. The energy of parents can be passed down to their children. Just look at certain families and it will be obvious that there are certain patterns and traits they all share, negative or positive.

Nobody is perfect but please be careful with your choices. We can't just do whatever we want in this world without some kind of repercussion.

Is being gay a sin?

No. Being gay is not a sin.

If you are LGBQT and have felt alienated from God due to this erroneous teachings, please know that you did nothing wrong. There is nothing wrong with you. And you definitely don't have to "pray the gay away." I cannot imagine anything more painful than feeling that God would reject you simply for being who you are.

Sexual orientation has nothing to do with sinning.

God is unconditional love. God loves every single person unconditionally and does not "judge" us.

But if we do something to hurt ourselves or others then we may judge ourselves and then feel unworthy of God's love.

To "sin" is simply any action that causes us to be separated from this love.

Being gay is not doing anything to hurt anyone, just like being black, white, Asian or Hispanic is not doing anything to hurt anyone. It is our actions and thoughts that determine how close we are to God. If our actions and thoughts are done with love, then we are being closer to God. This is all that matters.

God wants us to love ourselves unconditionally. This unconditional love for ourselves helps our relationship with God. This is because the more we love ourselves, the more we feel deserving of God's unconditional love. Self love and acceptance brings us closer to God.

If you read the New Testament of the Bible, you will see that divorce is mentioned over and over again as a sin. Yet more than half of all marriages end in divorce today. Jesus Himself said nothing about sexual orientation. In fact he said that the greatest thing we can do is Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' {Luke 10:27}

To love your neighbor as yourself means to accept everyone as your brothers and sisters. Without judgment. No exception. Someone who makes others feel bad because of who they are is not being a loving neighbor.

There are very powerful faith healers who teach that being gay is a sin. However I was shown that, despite how powerful their healings are, these people are confused. They are confused because, when you think about it, it doesn't make sense that an all-loving God would punish people for who they choose to love.

Remember, even healers who seem to be able to do the most miraculous healings don't know all the answers. I've known some pretty remarkable healers who still had issues with ego, and in fact were not even very nice people sometimes. A true healer lifts people up and helps them to feel closer to God. A true healer is in their heart and does not make others feel unworthy.

If anything, those teaching that being gay is a sin will have to pay the karma. Eventually they will have to face all the emotional and spiritual harm they have caused others.

So please do not fall into this false teaching. There is nothing wrong with you. God loves you. And you deserve to be exactly who you are and love whoever you want. Most important, love and accept yourself. It is what God wants. <3
